....oops, we can't start there because we don't have all the data ..... but there is a lot of interesting information that Jay and Randall Steger dug up about part of our family.
Of course, any “family” quickly branches to include different people and surnames representing inlaws and their immediate families. Full recognition, respect and affection goes to all. The primary family targeted for their interest here are the first and second generation decendants of Boleslaus and Sophie Jakubowski. This site was developed in 2011 when the only living first generation decendant of Boleslaus and Sophie was their son Ronald Jaye (nee Jakubowski). All first-hand information about his parents came from Ron so when he kicks the bucket we'll be left with gratitude for some valuable knowledge and insight found herein. Jay Steger has used current software called “Ancestory” to develop some far-reaching family tree data that he and Randall searched out. Of course, the further back in time, the more speculative and uncertain things become. We believe that the Ancestory-generated data is a worthwhile account of our family history. In addition to the expected family-tree relations found in the geneology and family accounts, there is also a very special tribute given to the estranged Boleslaus E. Jakubowski. He was an heroic WWII veteran and the very springboard into our investigation of, literally, the royal roots of our family. Once, only a rumor. Now, something more. So, enjoy the stories. Where Jay Steger's presentation of the geneological family tree is to become the most accurate record, it is appropriate to include Ron Jaye's year-2002 record, which has not been updated since then and is presented below.
